Again, Who Needs Toys??

I walked out the back door to that. He was having great fun. So thanks for the package, Grandpa W...I bet you didn't know you were sending a toy for Jacob, too! :)

Life

The chubbier his cheeks get, the more he looks like Jacob :)

Isaac loves to sit up. He holds his head up better than I've ever seen a 2 month old do. I guess he just wants in on all the action around here!

Silly boy.

Isaac (and Jacob for that matter) will never lack in the sisterly love department!! :)

Uhh...can you say ornery?!?!?

I realized the other night that I have zero bath pictures of Isaac! Then I realized why...I'm always giving the baths when Aaron is at work at night, so there's no one to take them! So I grabbed my camera and got a couple shots of the cutie enjoying his bath. He loves them, just like the other 2 did. I'm so glad it's not a screaming match! If he's fussy, run some water and he's instantly quiet. He just lays there and looks around, even though he's half freezing. I'm not used to that-I'm used to summer babies!

Jacob was sooooo tired the other night at supper. He was falling asleep at the table and decided that was enough of that. So he went over to the big ice chest we had sitting in the kitchen and crawled on top for a snooze!

Warning: Cute Baby Alert!

Isaac has been so fussy for the last 2 hours. I finally took the paci out, sat him up in my lap & told him he was being a stinker. That was the look he gave me!!! He also giggled for the first time! I can't wait to hear his belly laugh :)

Future Singer?

Excuse my voice, but Isaac is too cute not to share :) I think he's going to inherit the singing gene, too!

The Tongue Gene

Well it looks like the Stinemetz tongue gene didn't skip Isaac!!
He loves sitting up. He's been holding his head up since he was just a few days old. He loves looking around. Tonight, he found Anna's heart pajamas funny for some reason. He just stared at them and grinned. I tried laying him back against the pillows but he would just pull himself up to sit!

2 months

Align Center

I cannot believe Isaac is already 2 months old! He had his check up today. He's 12.3 lbs (75%), 23 3/4" long (75%), and his head is 15 1/4" (50%). I haven't looked for sure, but I'm almost positive Jacob was bigger. *I looked in Jacob's scrapbook-he weighed almost 15lbs., the same height as Isaac, an his head was in the 95th percentile!* I know his head was for sure! Isaac is doing everything a 2 month old should be doing. AND he started sleeping all the way through the night last week!!!!! 7+ hours!! Now I just need to make myself go to bed at the same time & I would get 7 hours too! The bigger he gets, the more he looks like Jacob. Although he still favors Anna's baby pictures. Isaac is a pretty good baby. He still likes to be held a lot, but most days he takes good naps in his bed (except for today!). His eyes still haven't decided on a color! They're definitely darker, but at times they still look like they could turn blue. I think they'll probably end up brown or hazel.
I'm excited to watch Isaac's personality start to show. It will be fun to see!

Day at the Ranch

We spent the afternoon and evening at Scott's. We had some business to take care of with him and I had to do my grocery shopping (badly!), so we killed two birds with one stone. The kids were ecstatic to find out we were going to Scott's! Unfortunately it was too cold to ride, but they did get to "help" Scott feed. It was starting to get dark and I only had my phone to take pictures with, so they aren't the best (I can't believe-well I can-that I forgot my camera!!).

It got cold FAST, so Jacob and I stuck inside the barn! He got out into the pen and was pretending to be a horse. :)

There is no doubt this girl is my daughter. Even though she had to have been FREEZING, she stuck right beside Scott for a good 30 minutes. She wandered between the horses, petting them. She was so completely at ease and just looked right at home.

Her face is blurry here because she was talking so excitedly!

Mama! This horse came right up to me!! I didn't even click my tongue...he just came right over to me!!!!!

She helped Scott feed this horse-she got the grain all by herself and poured it in his bin.

Helping Scott with the water bucket.

On the way over there, Jacob asked if he could ride a tractor (he wore his John Deere socks). I told him Scott didn't have a tractor so he wanted to go to Terry's house! ha Let's just say he was a little bit excited when he walked in the barn and saw a TRACTOR!!!

I told her it was too heavy, but she tried anyway. :)

Brothers

Jacob hasn't asked to hold Isaac for a long time. He's asked several times today.
I got a new phone today...is the picture better than the ones I've posted from my Blackberry?

Rockin It

Isaac rockin' his super cute outfit from the Floridians :) It says "My Dad Rocks"
Aaron got a new phone for work so I'm trying it out with blogger. It's a 3G and does videos too (mine can do videos but I have to get a media card for it).

Back West

Next up was back to the west to Aunt Cara & Uncle Terry's house!

Grandma Ryan (Terry's mom) stopped by! I don't even think she's left-handed, but she's such a pro it doesn't matter:) She has 10 kids and beaucoup (that's French for a lot) grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even one great-great grandchild!

Whatcha got there Gramps?

Anna said "Her tree is so tall she can't even fit a star on top!" :)

Kaedyn and Anna...I don't even want to know what they're talking about!

Kaedyn with her favorite aunt...right?! ;)

Don't ask. Because I don't know!

He was so excited to get a tool set!

Bob the Builder!

Don't be fooled...there's more than meets the eye here...

Wait Terry!! There's more than just wrapping paper in there!!!

BRYCE!! hahaha He wanted to help smash down the paper and misunderstood how to go about it. Hey, it works!

Oh boy...Missy got Anna the perfect gift!

Princess crown, wand and tutu!

:) I had Mom's name and I had Cara embroider "Binga's Treasures" and all the grandkids' names on a shirt for her. She knew she was getting a shirt (I had to ask the size) but she had no idea what I had done to it! Thanks Cara!!

TJ: Hmmm...this isn't too different from holding Bella when she was a little puppy. See, I just scratch his back and he stays quiet. It's not that bad.
Aaron: TJ, don't do it...don't have kids. You'll never get a full night's sleep for the rest of your life. DON'T DO IT!!!!!!

Cheeseballs was a favorite. Jacob's been known to steal the whole container and hide in the laundry room eating them fist over fist!!! I'm just shaking my head. Oh Jacob.
Unbelievable...I left my camera in my suitcase so I have NO PICTURES from the Stinemetz Christmas at Philip's. Good grief. It was great. I hardly had to hold Isaac all weekend--Warene, Carolyn and PAPA fought over him the whole time! ha Way too much delicious food, great fellowship, round robin ping pong (of course!) and not enough time or sleep.
We had so much fun seeing everyone on our whirlwind "tour" but we are very glad to be home!!

Next Up...Crazy Town!

Mia, quit acting like a teenager and SMILE!

Hudson, sit up and leave Jacob alone! Bryce, look at the camera! Girls...SMILE!!

Yeah, Hudson's had enough, Bryce has assumed the thumb-sucking position--find my happy place, find my happy place!, Kaedyn is still cheesin' it up, Anna is wondering when bedtime is, Mia...I don't know!? I'm pretty sure Jacob is thinking about tripping Hudson. Doesn't this look like FUN?!?

The boy is in heaven with a new Thomas track!

Hey Bryce...whatcha doin??

Cheeeeeese Aunt Jenni!!

7 Hour Drive and 2 Roadside Potty Stops...

Next up was Colorado. The first half of the trip was torturous. All three kids were not cooperating with my plan for a quiet, peaceful, nap-taking seven hour roadtrip. What were they thinking?! But the 2nd half was much better. Not enough sleeping for my taste but at least they weren't all screaming.

Seriously, I love this picture.

Great Grandma J with 3 of her 5 great grandchildren.

The ladies in all their Christmas pretties

Jacob didn't get the SMILE memo...

I'm so glad there's somebody else to make wear the traditional hats now!! ;)

This picture proves that it's in a female's genes to multitask!!
Having a 5 week old and three kids has taken up the part of my brain that remembers my camera whenever we go somewhere. UGH!
