Beauty All Around Us

We got freezing fog again last night/this morning. A timely reminder from a friend yesterday about taking time to see God's beauty and having an attitude of prayer prompted me to grab my camera and drive to the lake. It was a bit chilly, so almost all of these were snapped from inside the van! :) What a glorious creation God has given us.
*there are tons of pictures because I couldn't narrow it down!*

Yeah, we still have geese and ducks! Every year, more and more stay behind. I guess they're adjusting to the cold temps.

Panoramic view of the beautiful lake.

This guy was just taking a little stroll down the street!

I've always liked this tree--how it grows out over the water.

Fun Visit

Binga has one of Anna's favorite movies...

Mary Poppins!!

The kids thought it was great to get a "movie night" with popcorn! :) And they were obviously enthralled with it!

So was Papa! :)

What a gorgeous sunset! I had to stop and capture it. I dream there's a house at the end of this dirt road...and I live there! ;) God has created the most beautiful, indescribable colors for us to enjoy!

I Love This Place

The Country School

It takes me back a century

Simpler days
When it was expected for the teacher to open the day in prayer
And having a school verse
Proverbs 22:6 is this one's

It's surrounded by reminders of God's great creation

*even if some of them are fake*

Even a grape vine growing around an archway

Gorgeous flowers everywhere

It wouldn't be Kansas without sunflowers
********************
It makes me want to stay out there all day
But life beckons and I return to the "city"
One of these days............
