Mom Update

*sigh* :)


We received a phone call from her Dr at Mayo and she said all the tests that had been run were fine. She agreed with Nona to cancel the colonoscopy and unless something else comes up, didn't have to come back to see her. So that is good right? Right! Dr. Nahra is going to send all the reports to us since she won't be seeing her again and we can read for ourselves what all is in there. We will add it to her 30 lbs box of documents.

She still hasn't had to take fluids and has just taken one Zofran (nausea med) since the 9th. The B-cell chemo has thrown her for a loop as far as being tired. It has zapped her hard for about 8 days and now is slowly regaining from that. Not really looking forward to that every 3 months for 2 years, but we will make it.

We are going for short walks and she is starting to boss me around again, "pick up your clothes", "do the laundry", "why aren't the dishes done yet", "you know I like my pajamas ironed", "you missed a spot on the kitchen floor", "that veal marsala with egg fettuccine needs a little more seasoning" and on and on - so she is getting closer to being normal again.
