Mom Update and stuff

Just a quick update - She got her pic line removed today, yea!, and canceled the at home medical service. No more flushing the line each day or ordering fluids. The nurses who came to the house were all very good and did an excellent job. But they won't be missed, haha. Not really, they were all very caring and a great group.

She is doing the decompression at the chiropractor and seems to be helping a lot with the back pain. So, now just getting over being so tired......

One of these days, there will be nothing to update on and won't that be great? Cecil





So my garden is growing strangely.....everything on the south end is growing like CRAZY, while everything (except the 2 pepper plants that sprouted) on the north end is dead/dying. Hmmmmm. Not sure what's up with that.

The zucchini plant really took off and is overtaking everything. It's nearly impossible to get in there to check on the cucumber plant! Which is growing through the chicken wire. I pulled a cucumber through it the other day...that was one funky shaped cucumber! Thanks, Janet for the website. I didn't find many of those very appealing, but then I just can't imagine a cold soup and I very strongly dislike seafood! ha. I guess we'll see...come on folks! Gimme some recipes!!!!! :-)

And how cute is this?! :) It didn't last long...1)Jacob was hungry and tired which resulted in a lot of sand in his mouth and eyes. 2)Daddy came home shortly after we went outside. 3)We only went outside so I could pick some tomatoes and cucumbers for supper (I love saying that!!)

He got so messy at supper that it was just so much easier to stick him in the sink and rinse him off! He loved it :)

Then Anna wanted to join the fun. And while I was putting Anna in, Jacob decided to grab a tomato and have an after-supper snack! He ate 1/2 of it!!
