On our way home from our anniversary date (I'm working on that post! In the meantime, go check out Cassie's blog for a fun video of what the kids did while we were on a date!), I just had to stop and try to get some pictures of the storm. I've always loved thunderstorms. I still haven't learned anything extra about my camera, so I don't know if there was a better setting I could have used. I had a hard time getting the pictures I wanted but these turned out pretty cool. I didn't edit them at all. I went out later last night after we got the kids in bed and tried to take some more, but none of them turned out. It was incredible, though. It was constant lightening behind clouds. If you've ever seen that video of the house with Christmas lights that light up with the beat of music? It was like that. It was just amazing and a testimony to God's AWESOMEness:)

We had the same experience Thursday night on our road trip, it was indeed awesome, that is until we ran into the rain that accompanied it - I didn't enjoy that part so much but the hour of constant lighting behind the clouds was incredible!
